Every NTS string tying machine features the same robust construction and simple, reliable operation. The only difference between the three models are the dimensions of the throat. This throat is measured in terms of height and depth. The throat height is measured from the top of the table up to the needle shaft. The depth is measured from the tying mechanism to the back of the machine. These dimensions determine how much you can fit in the machine. Consequently, this is the decisive factor on selecting an NTS machine for your application.
NTS-10
If you only bundle tree seedlings and other short plants, the NTS-10 is all you need. You can make a tie up to 20" (51 cm) from either end of the bundle, and you can make a bundle up to 10" (25 cm) in diameter.

NTS-15
A step up in size and an ideal choice for most nurseries is the NTS-15. With this machine you can make a tie up to 30" (76 cm) from either end of the bundle, and you can make a bundle up to 15" (38 cm) in diameter. In addition, the recessed table design accomodates plants with thick foliage or a wide root structure. This machine will also bundle seedlings and other short plants equally well.

NTS-1560
Our largest and most versatile machine is the NTS-1560. This machine will make a tie up to 60" (154 cm) from either end of the bundle, and you can make a bundle up to 15" (38 cm) in diameter. Like the NTS-15, a recessed table accomodates plants with thick foliage or a wide root structure. The excess depth makes it perfect for whips and other tall trees. This tying machine will also bundle seedlings and other short plants equally well. If you tie a wide variety of plants, this is the machine for you.
